Alexander Volkov

Founder & CTO @ MDDT

20 years in IT — climbed the OSI model from Layer 1 to Layer 7.

Started with fiber optic infrastructure for major telecom operators during the dial-up to broadband transition. Graduated with a thesis on GPON network architecture.

Moved up through enterprise IT at a national retail chain — infrastructure across hundreds of locations and regional expansions.

Then software: built iOS apps for international FMCG companies, government systems, and enterprise clients through a leading system integrator. Then product teams at a big tech company. Took an early-stage fitness startup from zero to a Dubai accelerator semifinalist.

In 2021 founded MDDT. Contributed to Stats.fm as Flutter Lead — the app serves 20M+ users. 3-year engineering partnership with IRNBY Training Club — built and scaled their fitness platform to $1.5M ARR, 73k users, zero serious incidents.

Since 2023: building with AI as a core workflow. One developer closing tasks of a team of five. Apps in days, not months.
